Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle
I originally made this costume when a group of my friends recruited me for a Tsubasa skit at ConnectiCon 2009. My wife always loved the costume and years later made matching Sakura and Tomoyo costumes for herself and Punzy, so I still enjoy pulling this out of storage to wear with them on occasion.
Construction Notes:
The jacket was made from black suiting fabric and red bottomweight for the lining. I altered a trenchcoat pattern to create the long tails in the back and used a matching set of gold buttons one of the original group members had purchased in bulk. The pants, shirt, and tie are store bought and I painted the soles of the shoes red.
