Legend of Zelda/Assassin's Creed
I've always wanted to cosplay Link, especially so I could craft his sword and shield, but never felt like I could appropriately pull him off since I'm a larger, un-elf-like sized guy. However I came across a fan parody of the cover of the original Assassin's Creed game labeled "Hyrule Creed," where the artist had colored in the main character's clothing to resemble Link's color scheme. I decided to take that idea and run with it, and came up with my own design and ideas for how to create an assassin version of Link using the recently released Hyrule Warriors game designs as a base. This costume was a herculean effort but I love the result and this is one of my favorite cosplays.
